Author once told this store was set up on metric dimensions.

Former A&P at 2635 Hampton in St. Louis

Former A&P. One of two stores on Hampton. Probably closed in 1960s. Larger 5418 Hampton
store closed when A&P left St. Louis in 1977. (Since demolished.)

Former Kroger on S. Duchesne in St. Charles, MO

Former Kroger. Believed to have been replaced by Kroger that was next to K-Mart on I-70
south service road.

Former National at 800 S. Duchesne Rd in St. Charles, MO

Former National built in early 1980s. Acquired by Schnucks in 1995. Recently replaced
by Schnucks with their new Lindenwood store on First Capitol.

Former A&P in St. Charles, MO

Former A&P in st. charles. Closed when a&P left St. Louis area in 1977. Has
remained open continously since 1977 as an independent. Small strip shopping
center. 317 Hawthorne.

Former Kroger in Hermann, MO. Has been a Save-A-Lot stores since the 1970s.

Former A&P in Bethalto, IL. Last new A&P built in St. Louis Area (1976). Along with the Alton and Granite City stores, it remained as an A&P after A&P left St. Louis in 1977. Closed as an A&P in mid 1980s. Continued as grocery store under various names. Finally, purchased by Schnucks a few years ago.

Former Schnucks on HWY 111 in Wood River, IL. Schnucks converted store to a "Rock Bottom"
warehouse store in 1984. Sold by Schnucks to the "New" National after Schnucks' purchase of
National in 1995.

Since demolished.
