Former Bettendorf - Rapp supermarket in W St. Louis County.  Acquired by Schnucks in 1970 when Schnucks purchased the Bettendorf - Rapp chain.  Believed to be only Schnucks store remaining from this 1970 purchase.

Former National - St. Louis, MO

Former National at Grand & Chippewa in South St. Louis City.  Built in 1970s on site of former St. Anthony's Hospital.  Closed in 1995(?) soon after Schnucks' purchase of National.  In 1980s, was National's top volume store.

Originally a Kroger that opened in October of 1979.  National took over store when Kroger left St. Louis in 1986.  Schnucks took over after their purchase of National in 1995.  Schnucks built new store across street around 5 years ago.
(Opened as Kroger the same day as Gravois & Mackenzie and Manchester & I-270 stores.)


Has been demolished and replaced with hi-rise condos.

Former Kroger in Fenton, Mo, a St. Louis suburb.  Originally Kroger was in the left side of building, with drugstore on right side.  Shop'n Save took over store when Kroger left St. Louis in 1986.  Shop'n Save enlarged store by expanding into drug store.

Schnucks, which has a store across the street, took over lease.
